On May 08, 2018, the Ministry of Information & Communications issues the Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT on the danh sách of potentially unsafe commodities under the management of the Ministry of Information & Communications.
This Circular prescribes 02 on the danh mục of potentially unsafe commodities:
- menu of communications and information công nghệ commodities subject to lớn certification & declaration of conformity such as Second generation terrestrial digital television (DVB-T2) transmitter; cordless telephone equipment; radio transceivers with a frequency band between 9 kHz và 400 GHz và capacity of 60 mW or more; radio transceivers used in maritime smartphone services
- các mục of communications & information technology commodities subject to lớn declaration of conformity such as cordless telephone equipment; radio transceivers with a frequency band between 9 kHz and 400 GHz and capacity of 60 mW or more; radio transceivers used in maritime thiết bị di động services..
Additionally, the Ministry of Information & Communications periodically inspect, examine & modify the danh sách of group 2 commodities according to lớn the management policy of the State.

Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT dated May 08, 2018 of the Ministry of Information và Communications on the menu of potentially unsafe commodities under the management of the Ministry of Information và Communications
Pursuant to the Law on chất lượng of Commodities dated November 21, 2007;
Pursuant lớn the Law on Telecommunications dated November 23, 2009;
Pursuant lớn the Law on Radio Frequencies dated November 23, 2009;
Pursuant to the Law on Information công nghệ dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant lớn the Government"s Decree No. 132/2008/ND-CP dated December 31, 2008 elaborating the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on unique of Commodities;
Pursuant to lớn the Government"s Decree No. 17/2017/ND-CP dated February 17, 2017 defining functions, tasks, entitlements and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information & Communications;
At the request of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology,
The Minister of Information and Communications hereby promulgates a Circular on the các mục of potentially unsafe commodities under the management of the Ministry of Information và Communications.
Article 1. Scope of adjustment
This Circular provides for the danh sách of potentially unsafe commodities under the management of the Ministry of Information và Communications (hereinafter referred lớn as “the các mục of category 2 commodities”).

Article 2. Subject of application
This Circular applies to:
1. Producers and traders of commodities on the list of category 2 commodities in Vietnam.
2. Organizations & individuals related to chất lượng control of commodities on the danh mục of category 2 commodities in Vietnam.
Article 3. Các mục of group 2 commodities
1. The management of the danh mục of group 2 commodities:
a) “The danh mục of information technology & communications commodities subject lớn declaration và certification of conformity” is provided in the Appendix I hereof.
b) “The các mục of information technology và communications commodities subject khổng lồ declaration of conformity” is provided in the Appendix II hereof.
2. The Ministry of Information và Communications periodically inspect, examine và modify the menu of group 2 commodities according to the management policy of the State.

Article 4. Rules for unique control of group 2 commodities
1. The quality of group 2 commodities on the menu of group 2 commodities shall be controlled as in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Information and Communications on certification và declaration of conformity of information technology and communications commodities, và respective national technical regulations and standards.
